Your Role As Senior Accountant, you will report to the Accounting Manager and play a key role in executing an accurate and timely monthly close. You will own assigned accounting processes, prepare and analyze financial information, strengthen internal controls, and partner with leaders across the organization to support informed business decisions. You will also contribute to process improvements, system optimization, and the continued development of a scalable accounting function. Primary Functions Of The Senior Accountant Include Execute assigned components of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries, completing account reconciliations, and analyzing general ledger activity.Prepare and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Own or support assigned invoicing processes within NetSuite, ensuring transactions are complete, accurate, and timely.Partner with market leaders to prepare, review, and deliver timely and accurate partner statements.Perform financial statement and account fluctuation analyses, research material variances, and clearly communicate key drivers and business implications to management.Support external audits by preparing requested documentation and assisting with substantive testing, controls testing, and follow-up inquiries.Identify and implement opportunities to streamline, standardize, and automate accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.Develop and maintain clear process documentation and cross-train with other Finance team members to promote continuity and shared knowledge.Participate in accounting system implementations, configurations, testing, and optimization initiatives.Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support business and strategic decisions.Perform other related responsibilities as assigned. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required4+ years of progressive public accounting, corporate accounting, or finance experiences, including direct experience with general ledger accounting and the financial close processStrong knowledge of GAAPExperience with month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and lookup functionsCPA license or active progress toward CPA licensureHealthcare industry experience, particularly within value-based careExperience with NetSuite or a comparable enterprise resource planning systemExperience with intercompany accounting and allocationsExperience supporting process automation or accounting system implementationsExperience supporting external audits and internal control activitiesStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, growth-oriented, remote work environment while demonstrating accountability, responsiveness, and sound judgment The base pay range for this role is $84,200.00-$97,800.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
