Location: Brooklyn Park, Minnesota (in office 5 days a week)

Compensation Range: $102,000 - $117,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual performance bonus

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Accountant to manage high volumes of financial data, ensuring transactions are accurately imported, coded, reconciled, and properly reflected in our ERP system. This role requires strong attention to detail, as you'll review job cost and revenue ledgers, reconcile general ledger accounts, support payroll and credit card imports, and prepare monthly insurance allocations and analyses. You'll collaborate closely with payroll, operations, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and meet monthly deadlines, while also supporting insurance audits with organized and accurate documentation. Responsibilities

• Upload large amounts of data into Vista
• Review job cost and revenue ledgers for accuracy
• Facilitate import files from Comdata credit card transactions into ERP software and perform detailed coding reviews for accuracy to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Facilitate import from Paycom into ERP software
• Partner with the Payroll Team to ensure proper coding and accurate allocation of payroll costs on imports
• Coordinate, compile, and provide required insurance data related to general liability, auto, and workers’ compensation audits
• Prepare monthly insurance allocation entries
• Prepare monthly insurance analysis
• Conduct general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close
• Perform other duties as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Knowledge of applicable import and/or export processes and business standards
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• High integrity, reliable, team player
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and stay on task
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• General payroll knowledge
• Experience with Vista accounting software and Comdata systems
• Job costing experience
