Responsibilities

  • Captures account administration for complex client relationships including fiduciary, investment management, estate settlement, guardianship, and custody accounts.
  • Maintains knowledge of governing documents and account agreements.
  • Manages service requests from clients and partners, gathers necessary information, and communicates with partners and clients to facilitate service changes or transactions.
  • Coordinates resolution of client issues and keeps clients informed of account status, document requests, and other information.
  • Oversees the development and execution of action plans for client servicing events, ensuring timely follow-up and regular client updates.
  • Collaborates with the Client Support Services Team on account opening and closing, cash movements, and fee setups.
  • Aids in the account acceptance process, discretionary request analysis, compliance management, and annual account reviews for Trust Advisors, Estate Settlement Administrators, Guardianship Administrators, and Client Advisors.
  • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of critical business applications essential for relationship management, such as client online tools.
  • Supports Trust Advisors, Estate Settlement Administrators, Guardianship Administrators, and Client Advisors in business development and client presentations, identifying service efficiency enhancements and process improvements.
  • Acts as a key subject-matter expert and mentor to junior-level employees.
  • May manage daily operational activities and supervise junior-level employees (without a formal management role).
  • Displays technical proficiency in their area of expertise and possesses broader knowledge of other areas.
  • Produces work products requiring minimal revisions.
  • Facilitates discussions and reaches decisions effectively.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • In-depth functional and industry knowledge of personal trust, estate, guardian, and advisory services and products, typically gained through related work experience.
  • Knowledge of internal bank trust functions.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Technical skills and system knowledge (e.g., Peoplesoft).
  • Relevant proven work experience or credentials, preferably 5-7 years.

Qualifications

  • A College or University degree is preferred.
