About the role

This is the perfect role for a leader that is inherently, naturally, gloriously social, both online and off. Everyone wants your strategic input, opinion and approval. People trust you. You feel in your bones what’s on-brand for your clients, and you efficiently, effortlessly direct a team to deliver the right stuff, every time. This is a hybrid role based out of our NYC or LA office.

Responsibilities

  • Deepen the client relationship and grow their business in a meaningful way through strategic initiatives and creative, practical solutions to client issues.
  • Devise engagement strategies, approve content, manage scopes, deliverables, and campaigns to ensure alignment with the strategic vision and voice across channels 24/7, 365.
  • Manage, maintain, and grow the relationship with the client and key stakeholders.
  • Direct and positively impact projects, teams, and clients by providing direction and vision.
  • Maintain a superior relationship with all departments in the agency and communicate the strategic goals of the account to the agency team.
  • Provide management and mentorship of staff members.
  • Communicate with senior leadership about account status while proactively finding solutions to issues that may arise.
  • Manage high-volume content pipelines across multiple accounts and platforms.
  • Juggle overlapping deadlines and shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Track content workflows, reviews, and stakeholder approvals with strong organizational skills.
  • Align cross-functional teams to deliver on time without sacrificing quality.
  • Lead simultaneous campaigns while maintaining strategic oversight and executional detail.
  • Make quick decisions and pivot strategies to meet changing client or market demands.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize processes for scalable content production.
  • Thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities.
  • Maintain clear communication to keep clients and internal teams aligned through complexity.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in digital/social account management.
  • Experience working with influencers/creators, and a passion for the growing creator industry.
  • Experience implementing social media, digital, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Natural leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills: persuasive, strategic, proactive, diplomatic.
  • Experience managing and mentoring large teams.
  • A demonstrated passion for and superb understanding of the social media landscape.
  • A deep understanding of relevant social ad operations and optimization.
  • Uncanny attention to detail.
  • Rockstar presentation skills.
  • Commitment to excellence — working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues, and communicating with diplomacy.
  • Ability to identify emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation.
  • Big brand experience is a must.

Pay

Base salary range: $150-170K, plus bonus potential if applicable for the role. Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training, level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, and tenure at the company.
