Sprinkler Service Technician

Firedriven by innovation and commitment to excellence, Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This position supports a wide range of service offerings and plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the fire protection and life safety standards of our diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a focus on meeting and exceeding customer needs and expectations.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers through consistent service delivery and proactive outreach to potential customers.
• Perform service work including troubleshooting and maintenance of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, as well as backflow prevention devices.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 13, 20, and 24 codes.
• Operate and train others on the use of appropriate tools for pipe fitting and service platform operations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure efficient and safe work practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Sprinkler Service, with 7 to 10 years preferred.
• Working knowledge of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems, along with basic understanding of fire pumps.
• Proficiency in NFPA 13, 20, and 24 code requirements.
• Ability to use trade-appropriate tools for pipe fitting and service platform operations.
• Basic service platform operation skills.
• Clear background check and successful completion of a drug screen.

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
