Key Responsibilities
- Service, test, inspect, and troubleshoot both basic and complex fire sprinkler systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Look for issues where systems are not working properly or not meeting current code requirements and recommend what needs to be fixed or upgraded.
- Work with contractors, building maintenance staff, and internal office teams to schedule and complete service calls.
- Document what you find, what you recommend, and what you repair, in line with company expectations and NFPA standards.
- Take part in on-call rotations and respond to emergency service requests when needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and represent Encore in a professional way on every job site.
What You Bring To The Table
- A high school diploma or GED, with technical or industry related experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, their components, and common tools used to service them.
- Familiarity with NFPA codes and general fire protection standards.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for use with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights of 30 feet or more.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory.
- Experience operating lifts and an understanding of OSHA safety practices.
- A professional, team-oriented mindset and a consistent focus on doing the job safely and correctly.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Three or more years of experience inspecting, servicing, or repairing fire sprinkler systems.
- NICET certification in water-based systems inspection, testing, or layout.
- Experience handling both routine inspections and more complex repair work.
- You are known for catching issues early, explaining them clearly to customers, and following through until they are fixed.
