Spring 2027 Tax Intern

Cerity Partners is searching for talented, bright, and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Cleveland tax team from January 2027 to April 2027. This is a paid internship program (20-30 hours per week) offering a flexible schedule, collaborative team atmosphere, and autonomy to manage projects. Ideal for those seeking part-time seasonal experience in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns
• Create workpapers that effectively tell the story of how projects were prepared
• Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related business degree with a strong interest in tax
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or have professional work experience

• Dependable, timely, and follow through on tasks
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn to navigate various software applications
• Organized and proficient at compiling data into presentable, orderly deliverables
• Accurate with close attention to detail
