Spring 2027 Tax Intern

About the Role

This is a paid internship program (25-30 hours per week January to Mid-April) designed to provide college students with an opportunity to enhance their formal education through hands-on, career-related experience. The role is ideal for someone seeking a part-time seasonal position in the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local individual and business income tax returns in UltraTax CS (tax preparation software).
• Create workpapers in Engagement Manager (workpaper organization/preparation software) and SurePrep (workpaper organization/preparation software) that effectively document project preparation.
• Utilize FirmFlow (CRM/project management) and GoFileRoom (document storage) to maintain an accurate status of workflows.
• Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues.
• Other duties as requested by Tax Advisors and Tax Administrators.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university with a minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Majoring in Finance, Accounting, or a related business degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Applications.
• Actively participating in campus organizations, preferably in a leadership role, and/or have professional work experience.
