About the role
The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour (HJGT) was founded in 2007 to provide junior golfers ages 8‑18 with competitive play on exceptional courses and superb hospitality, aiming to make every event memorable. The tour is the largest junior golf tour in the world, hosting more 2‑day nationally ranked events than any other tour. In 2017 HJGT partnered with Nexus, backed by Joe Lewis/Tavistock Group, Tiger Woods, and Justin Timberlake, to grow the game and expand the tour’s reach. Under the direct supervision and mentorship of HJGT Tournament Directors and Staff Members, interns learn to operate golf tournaments through active involvement in all aspects of tournament operations, from course setup to breakdown, with extensive weekend travel across the country and business‑operations training when not traveling.
