Responsibilities
- Covering surgical cases as directed by territory personnel
- Transporting equipment to surgical facilities, offices, etc.
- Delivering surgical techniques, surgical videos, etc. to hospitals, surgery centers, physician offices, etc.
- Tracking down purchase orders, entering into PacMed Mederp system or directly with PacMed-Stryker liaison or whatever system PacMed directs territory to use.
- Supporting team meetings, territory functions and being a good teammate.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree required
- Surgical sports medicine device sales experience (2+ years required)
- Field sales training—In-field training
- Successful completion of the in-house product training program
- Computer training
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up-to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Must be able to communicate with large groups of people
- Must be able to communicate telephonically
- Must be able to use common office equipment (e.g. fax, modem, calculator, PC, etc.)
- Up to 20% overnight travel annually
- Must be able to drive an automobile/valid driver's license
- Must be able to readily solve customer complaints and questions
- Must have command of all products, including functionality, features, and factors that differentiate Stryker products from its competitors’ products and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customer
- Must be able to analyze territory market potential and prioritize call patterns accordingly

- Vacation Benefit: At completion of 3-month introductory period, vacation accrual up to an annual max of 40 hours in the first 23 months, at 24 months, accrual up to an annual max of 80 hours with a rollover balance.
- Sick Benefit: Sick accrual begins upon date of hire up to a max annual accrual of 80 hours with a max usage of 48 hours annually with a rollover balance.
Pay
Salary Range: $65,000 to $144,000 (Please Note: The stated salary range for this position is based on commission only. Commission is paid based on experience and territory sales volume)
