Orthopedics/Sports Medicine Surgical Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Maintain the surgical schedules of 1-2 physicians.
• Schedule surgeries, verify patient’s insurance, pre-authorize surgeries, and maintain contact with patients throughout the scheduling process.
• Assist with patient registration, scanning, and charge entry as needed.
• Travel to satellite offices may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years working in a surgeon’s office.
• 1-2 years surgical scheduling experience preferred.
• Travel to satellite offices may be required.
• Minimum wage: USD $21.98/Hr.
• Maximum wage: USD $36.27/Hr.
