Sports and Exercise Medicine Consultant/MSK Physician

About the role

The purpose of this role is to deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care to customers with SEM/MSK conditions at our Manchester clinics. You will be working within a multidisciplinary MSK team of highly experienced clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical consultations and procedures to a high level of care to customers with SEM/MSK conditions
• Work within a multidisciplinary MSK team of highly experienced clinicians
• Have GMC registration & license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• Have CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• Have CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine
• Have Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Have excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
• Have significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT
• Have experience treating private patients
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, organization and time management
• Have interest in continuing development – professional and business

Requirements

An experienced, confident Sports and Exercise Medicine/MSK Physician who has:

• GMC registration & license to practice – listed on the Sport and Exercise Consultant register
• CCT or equivalent experience (Article 14) in Sport and Exercise Medicine
• CCT in Sport & Exercise Medicine
• Post-graduate Diploma or MSc in MSK Medical or SEM from a recognised awarding body
• Excellent customer skills and a passion to deliver high levels of effective evidence-based care
• Significant experience of working within an MSK/SEM MDT
• Experience with sports injuries
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, organization and time management
• Interest in continuing development – professional and business
