Sports Medicine Physician

Role: Provide sports medicine care in a clinical setting while supporting local high school sports teams and regional private colleges. Key Responsibilities Deliver medical care during games and practices for high school and college athletes.Conduct sports physicals to assess athlete health and readiness.Collaborate with orthopedic sports physicians and athletic trainers to ensure comprehensive care.Participate in graduate medical education by precepting residents and students, fostering learning and professional development. Qualifications & Skills Strong knowledge of sports medicine practices and injury management.Ability to work effectively with athletic teams, physicians, and trainers.Experience or interest in medical education and mentorship.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
