Sports Instructor (per Class)

About the role
We are looking for an energetic Sports Instructor to join the team at our corporate client site in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, you'll lead engaging sports and recreational activities, create a fun and inclusive environment, and help participants stay active, motivated, and connected through movement and play. This is an as-needed position, working when classes are scheduled, with advance notice provided to support scheduling and availability.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality individual/group sports lessons (soccer, basketball, volleyball, etc.) to children and/or adults of varying abilities.
- Set up and break down the activity area before and after lessons.
- Assist in the promotion of sporting events and answer member questions about classes, leagues, tournaments, etc.
- Ensure students/players adhere to safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Adult & child CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, American Safety & Health Institute, or National Safety Council.
- One (1) or more years of sports teaching experience with children and/or adults.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
Pay
The compensation range for this role is $55–$63 per class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant considerations.
