About the role
Join the Levy team at the Delta Center as a Group Sales Server and help deliver a premium hospitality experience in one of the venue’s premium club spaces. You’ll provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests, including greeting, taking beverage orders, making sales, and ensuring a memorable experience in a fast-paced event environment.
Responsibilities

- Warmly greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
- Take accurate beverage orders and communicate them clearly to bar staff.
- Serve orders promptly, safely, and professionally.
- Check on guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction.
- Make sales and upsell bar beverages when appropriate.
- Answer guest questions and handle special requests, concerns, and inquiries courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces.
- Collaborate with bartenders, bussers, line attendants, managers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, and workplace-safety standards.
- Learn menu items, beverage offerings, club procedures, and service expectations.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each event.
- Complete additional duties as assigned based on event and department needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous server, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, attentive, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Ability to make sales or upsell beverage items when applicable.
- Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation standards is preferred.
- Willingness to learn menu items, beverage offerings, and club procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays with moderate loads, including five or more drinks.
- Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
Pay
$16.00 hourly
