Sport Coordinator Flag Football

About the Role

This is a part-time, seasonal position at Lakota Plains Jr. School in Liberty Township, Ohio. The season runs for approximately 7 weeks, with games scheduled on Sundays (excluding Labor Day weekend) from August 30, 2026 through October 18, 2026, with potential make-up dates on October 25 and November 1 if needed due to weather. Typical hours are approximately 11:00am - 5:30pm (final times TBD). No certification is required; training is provided for the league format.

Responsibilities

• Empower volunteer coaches to lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of designated sport on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Must be 16 or older for coordinator/official positions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge
• Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently and solve problems
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
• Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work weekends

Skills

• A background in sports or customer service is a plus
• Great job for college students looking to make extra money
• Must be reliable

Compensation

• $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
• High school students start at $14.00 per hour
