Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Manager NF-04

About the role

This position is located at: NAF Support Services - Fort Riley, Kansas. As part of the Marketing team, you will secure vital business partnerships, leveraging your sales and networking expertise to directly support and enhance our MWR community programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a sales and account management executive.
• Serves as a liaison between the customer and the organization to ensure that benefits are executed and terms of agreement are met.
• Attends related board, committee, and special event planning meetings.
• Makes presentations, writes, and performs public relations duties.
• Obtains legal counseling as necessary.
• Coordinates closely with local level counterparts and officials of other agencies or components to execute agreements.
• Acts as account manager for clients to ensure that benefits are executed and terms of agreement are met.

Requirements

• Conditions of employment: Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Resumes must be two pages (or less).
• Must possess the following work experience that demonstrates proven ability and experience in sales, negotiations, account management, or client care.
• Must be able to communicate orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business, or similar field.
• At least 2 years experience in sales.
• Experience in bookkeeping with funds such as tracking all Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising (CS&A) dollars received and spent throughout the fiscal year.
• Working knowledge of the military and MWR community.
