Sponsorship and Advertising Sales Manager NF-04.
Duties
Serves as a sales and account management executive. Prospects for new clients through a variety of sources and sales leads utilizing the Internet, trade publications, competitive sources and trade shows.
Develops proposals and evaluation criteria, and negotiates sponsorship and advertising agreements.
Coordinates closely with local level counterparts and officials of other agencies or components to execute agreements.
Obtains legal counseling as necessary.
Acts as account manager for clients to ensure that benefits are executed and terms of agreement are met.
Attends related board, committee, and special event planning meetings.
Provides expert advice and assistance that includes training.
Makes presentations, writes, and performs public relations duties.
Requirements
- Conditions of employment: Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends and holidays. Travel is required.
Qualifications

- A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following:
- Proven ability and experience in sales, negotiations, account management, or client care.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business, or similar field.
- At least 2 years experience in sales.
- Experience in bookkeeping with funds such as tracking all Commercial Sponsorship and Advertising (CS&A) dollars received and spent throughout the fiscal year.
- Working knowledge of the military and MWR community.
