About the role
The Administrative Analyst 3 position involves reviewing, analyzing, and appraising current department administrative procedures, organization, and performance. Responsibilities include conducting statistical, fiscal, and budgetary analyses for Forests & Natural Lands programs, designing and developing fiscal database programs, auditing units' accounts for accuracy, preparing and reconciling accounts statements, and supporting procurement and purchasing activities related to federally funded grants.
Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical, fiscal, and budgetary analyses for Forests & Natural Lands programs
- Perform accounting and cost analysis
- Design and develop fiscal database programs for the collection of monies and monitoring funding and spending allocations
- Audits units' accounts for accuracy
- Prepares and reconciles monthly and annual accounts statements
- Supports procurement and purchasing activities related to federally funded grants, ensuring compliance with applicable federal regulations and grant requirements
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of professional experience involving the review, analysis, and evaluation of budget, organization, administrative practices, operational methods, management operations, or data processing applications, or any combination thereof, which shall have included responsibility for the recommendation, planning, and/or implementation of improvements in a business or government agency.
- Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; and three (3) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
- Possession of a master's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Accounting; and two (2) years of the above-mentioned professional experience.
