We have an in-house therapy team with smaller daily caseloads, all new equipment, and an emphasis on optimizing time with patients. We offer CEU and licensure reimbursements for full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Speech Therapy plan of care for facility residents and short-term patients.
• Assist as needed with patient screens for Speech Therapy.
• Communicate progress and any barriers toward SLP goals with interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete timely Speech therapy documentation in compliance with regulatory, licensing, facility, and payor requirements.
• Assist with maintaining both the rehab gym equipment and treatment area in a safe manner, using good infection prevention methods.
• Provide and document patient, family, and caregiver training regarding each speech therapy patient’s specific plan of care and recommendations for follow-up.
• Maintain productivity standards as expected by the Director of Rehab or Administrator.

Requirements

• Current Texas licensure as an SLP is required.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.
