About the Role

The Speech Therapist in Home Health assesses and evaluates patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. They develop and implement treatment plans, perform interventions to improve patient well-being, and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services within legal scope and care plans
• Evaluate patient function and assist in creating therapy plans
• Treat communication and swallowing issues
• Observe and report patient responses to interventions
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members

Requirements

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle or public transit

Pay

Salary ranges from $70,992 to $106,488 annually, based on experience and location.
