Speech Therapist - Home Health

About the role

Evaluate, develop, and deliver personalized speech, language, hearing, and swallowing therapy in patients' homes or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech and related disorders
• Develop and review treatment plans
• Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care accordingly
• Provide patient, family, and staff education
• Document evaluations, treatments, and care activities
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards

Requirements

• At least six months of relevant experience
• Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation

This role involves patient-facing duties, adherence to TB screening, and driver safety protocols.

• Experience in home health settings

Pay

Pay per visit/unit or annual base pay based on experience and location.
