Speech Therapist - Home Health

About the Role

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders in patients within their homes or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer diagnostic tests and therapeutic interventions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care accordingly.
• Provide patient and family education, including communication alternatives.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and care activities while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements

• ASHA Certification in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology.
• Minimum of six months relevant experience; home health experience preferred.
• Current, unrestricted license and CPR certification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.

Pay

$63.00 - $88.00 per visit/unit or $92,200 - $126,900 annually, based on experience and location.
