Speech therapist for home health

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate speech therapy evaluation, assessment, and treatment to our clients.
• This is performed in accordance with physician orders and plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Director of Clinical Services/Clinical Manager.
• Guide patients in performing exercises and activities.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and home care techniques.
• Write professional evaluations and re-assessments that include a thorough plan of care with individualized goals and objectives for each patient.

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) year experience in a health care facility or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state/Agency requirements. Good driving record and reliable transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in speech therapy.
• A current license as a Speech Therapist in NM.
