Speech Therapist - Clinical Fellowship Year

Job Summary Provides comprehensive speech-language pathology services by evaluating and assessing patients to establish functional, measurable goals aimed at restoring communication and swallowing abilities. Develops and implements personalized treatment plans aligned with professional standards and departmental policies. Communicates patient progress and findings to patients and caregivers, and documents interventions accurately in medical records. Reassesses patient progress regularly to adjust care plans and ensure effectiveness. Participates in discharge planning, patient and family education, and referrals to community resources. May supervise clinical students, support staff, and volunteers, and contribute to staff development and healthcare improvement initiatives. Adheres to the ASHA Code of Ethics and maintains licensure requirements, including successful completion of the national examination and registration as a clinical fellow. Must possess a Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, with basic computer literacy and BLS certification.
