About the role

A clinical fellowship year (CFY) opportunity is available for a Speech Therapist to gain hands-on experience in a leading healthcare organization. Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic interventions to patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate patient needs and progress towards goals.
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and timely.
• Participate in continuing education activities to stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
• Completion of a minimum of 12 months of supervised clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of California.
• Experience working with diverse populations and ability to adapt treatment plans accordingly.
