About the Role
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at 21st Century Home Health Services (21HHS) provides skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes. In collaboration with the Case Manager and interdisciplinary care team, you will assess, treat, and support patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. You will also act as an educator and patient advocate, promoting improved communication and quality of life.
Responsibilities
As a full-time Home Health Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:
- Assess, treat, and support patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with the Case Manager and interdisciplinary care team.
- Act as an educator and patient advocate.
- Supervise and mentor speech-language pathology Clinical Fellows as they work toward certification.
Requirements
To be successful as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at 21HHS, you should have:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP).
- A current California license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist is preferred.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring speech-language pathology clinical fellows is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and managerial skills.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually.
