Essential Responsibilities
- Treats a variety of ages including pediatrics, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.
- Performs assigned duties in accordance with NRHN policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Supports the organization’s mission, values, and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Actively participates in the growth and development of their department including quality management.
Qualifications
- Mets qualifications of a licensed PT/OT/SLP/CF-SLP Inpatient Therapists must be licensed in NH.
- Outpatient Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Outpatient Speech Therapists must be licensed in their state of hire and eligible for licensure in alternate state (license to be obtained within 3 months of hire).
- Trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
- Inpatient Therapy: the therapist is required to work on the holiday and weekend rotation as indicated by staffing levels.
- Outpatient Therapy: the therapist is required to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless approved by regional outpatient directors.
Physical Demands
- Frequent pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Occasional pulling, pushing and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, handling, fingering, feeling talking hearing and seeing.
- Perform maximal assist/dependent transfers as necessary.
