Responsibilities
- Help patients regain communication, swallowing abilities, and diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
- Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, designing and executing patient plans
- Address the whole patient as an individual and design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities
- Adapt to patient needs and find joy in varied work settings and tasks, from cleaning equipment to reporting and meetings
- Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
- Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice
Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $45.00 – USD $50.00 / hour
