Responsibilities

• Help patients regain communication, swallowing abilities, and diminish or remediate disorders or deficits
• Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, designing and executing patient plans
• Address the whole patient as an individual and design programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance speech and communication abilities
• Adapt to patient needs and find joy in varied work settings and tasks, from cleaning equipment to reporting and meetings
• Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need to thrive
• Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
• Licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $45.00 – USD $50.00 / hour
