Speech Therapist

Role: The Speech Therapist in Home Health assesses, evaluates, and treats patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments. Responsibilities: Conducts assessments and develops individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Implements therapeutic interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions. Monitors and documents patient progress, reporting responses and changes to supervising physicians or nurses. Educates patients, families, caregivers, and team members on speech therapy techniques and strategies. Qualifications & Skills: Licensed in Speech Therapy within the state of practice. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, or access to public transit. Preferred: CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
