The Speech Language Pathologist is expected to follow facility core values in administering department services and helping to fulfill all therapy-related resident care needs. Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.Assured all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of careProvide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregiversMonitors patient responses to treatments and makes modifications during treatment sessions as necessaryCompletes documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations Skills: SNF/Long term care experience preferred but not requiredCurrent knowledge of treatment practicesKnowledge of Electronic Documentation System preferred but not requiredAbility to manage patients with different types of personalities Required licensure: Current License as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of PA.
