Speech Therapist

About the role

The Speech-Language Pathologist plans and implements treatment programs for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored therapy plans based on accepted practices
• Monitor patient progress
• Adjust interventions accordingly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Valid licensure and certification in speech-language pathology
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Valid Texas driver's license and auto insurance

Experience

• Preferably at least one year of speech therapy experience
• Some roles require home health experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Speech-language pathology license
• Authorization to practice in Texas
• Applicable life support certification
• Auto insurance

Additional Requirements

• Must obtain certain certifications within ninety days of hire
• Strong skills in patient assessment, communication, and collaboration
