About the role

Administers comprehensive clinical services to patients, including testing, analysis, and evaluation of complex medical conditions. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, collaborates with patient care teams, and ensures high-quality patient services. Provides direct patient care, specialized treatments, and follow-up support. Supervises staff and students, conducts in-service training, and maintains equipment and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to provide diagnoses and identify problems.
  • Plan, develop, and implement result-oriented treatment plans with clear, measurable goals.
  • Modify treatment plans based on patient responses.
  • Provide direct patient care and specialized treatments according to individualized plans.
  • Collaborate with patient care teams and community resources for continued care and follow-up post-discharge.
  • Follow established documentation protocols and record daily charges accurately.
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards, including cleaning and sterilizing equipment.
  • Conduct in-service programs, train staff, and serve as a clinical instructor to students.
  • Attend team conferences to promote an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Georgia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association).

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of Speech-Language Pathology experience.
  • Ability to perform Modifieds and FEES.

Pay

PRN rate of $60.50 hourly plus shift differential.

Schedule

Various days and hours based on departmental needs, with a strong preference for morning or early afternoon availability.
