Speech Pathologist, PRN

About the role

Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans in speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. Provide services across the continuum, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and revise treatment plans with patient and family input
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals
• Assess patients in collaboration with physicians, establishing and evaluating treatment goals and discharge plans
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information according to departmental standards
• Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and ensure safety and infection control
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in staff activities
• Engage in professional development, maintain licensure, and support new employee training

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• BLS certification
