About the role
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with physicians.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy programs and select appropriate activities to meet patient needs.
- Revise treatment goals based on patient and family input.
- Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and evaluate treatment programs.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress per departmental standards.
- Adhere to ethical practices and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Promote a positive work environment and participate in professional development.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality care initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
- Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
