Speech Pathologist, PRN

About the role

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing in collaboration with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy programs and select appropriate activities to meet patient needs.
• Revise treatment goals based on patient and family input.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and evaluate treatment programs.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress per departmental standards.
• Adhere to ethical practices and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Promote a positive work environment and participate in professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality care initiatives.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
