Speech Pathologist, Part-Time, Day Shift (SEIU)
About the role
Nestled on the Central California Coast, Adventist Health Sierra Vista has been providing care to our community since 1959. Our 162-bed acute care facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and county-designated trauma center.
Responsibilities
- Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
- Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
- Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
- Supervises assistants and support staff.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education and Work Experience: Master's Degree: Required Two years' speech language pathology experience: Preferred
- Licenses/Certifications: Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
- Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Two years of relevant work experience

Pay
The estimated base pay for this position is $53.61 to $80.34. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
