About the role
Provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Serves as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team, ensuring adherence to licensing, certification, and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Review patient information and assist in data collection of outcomes
- Instruct and supervise support staff and assistants, following national and state Practice Acts
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid licensure in the practice state
- BLS certification required
- CPR certification required
