Speech Pathologist, IP/OP Rehab Contingent Day

Position Summary

To provide quality goal directed Speech and Language Pathology (SLP) evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning to patients in a variety of age groups with cognitive, communication and/or swallowing disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cognitive, communication, and/or swallowing disabilities.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care coordination.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate records according to regulatory standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient cases and develop discharge plans.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, Communication Disorders or related areas from an accredited college or university.
• No previous experience required.

Qualifications

• Current certification by the American Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ASHA) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Maintains current state of New Jersey license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current BLS certification.
