Roles and Responsibilities
- Performs speech pathology services including diagnostic evaluations to determine level of impairment.
- After administering the appropriate tests and measures, a treatment plan is designed for improved communication and swallowing.
- Performs direct patient care services including the supervision of support personnel and students.
- Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.

About the Role
Provides speech pathology services at Riley Hospital - Inpatient Rehab, including diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited academic program in speech pathology, or foreign trained equivalent with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA.
- Current license in the State of Indiana.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for this certificate.
- Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Qualifications
