Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital and Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital are both licensed facilities with specialized services. Inland Valley Hospital is a 122-bed facility in Wildomar, CA, with a Trauma Center and Paramedic Base Station. Rancho Springs Hospital is a 120-bed facility in Murrieta, CA, known for its pediatric emergency services and OB/GYN coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs.
  • Develop and implement patient treatment programs, designing for patients with varying disabilities and medical problems.
  • Perform professional procedures meeting standards and adapting to changing patient needs.
  • Assist clients with speech, language, or swallowing impairments.
  • Practice in accordance with regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate behaviors modeling the Southwest Healthcare System (SWHS) Core Values and the hospital's mission.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Essential Experience: Prior work experience in acute hospital settings preferred; experience in diagnosing and treating swallow disorders; ability to analyze test results.
  • Minimum Essential Education: Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licenses/Certifications: License to practice speech pathology by the California State Board of Medical Examiners; current BLS Certificate; Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA).
