Speech Pathologist - FEES Endoscopist
About the role
Powerback is seeking an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join Powerback Swallow Solutions’ team of FEES Endoscopists. This SLP’s primary job duty will be providing Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the adult population in the post-acute care setting. The position focuses primarily on completing FEES in a set geography, so the ability to travel is required. The clinician will primarily complete FEES; however, the SLP will also provide patient care in the post-acute setting with other diagnoses, as needed.
Comprehensive FEES CEU and competency training is provided, along with dedicated leadership offering ongoing clinical and operational support throughout your career at Powerback.
Responsibilities
- Provide Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the adult population in the post-acute care setting.
- Travel within a designated geography to complete FEES assessments.
- Deliver patient care in the post-acute setting for other diagnoses, as needed.
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures, including those within the Compliance and Ethics Program, Standard/Code of Conduct, Federal False Claims Act, and HIPAA.
- Participate in required orientation and training programs.
- Promptly report concerns and suspected incidences of non-compliance to supervisor, Compliance Liaison, or the Compliance Officer via the Integrity Hotline.
- Cooperate with monitoring and audit functions and investigations.
- Participate in quality assurance and process improvement activities, as requested.
- Assist in community marketing of FEES and support the growth of the program within the geography.
- Support the development of future Endoscopists through CEU participation and competency training.
Qualifications
- Strong passion for instrumental swallow assessment, specifically FEES.
- Interest in community marketing of FEES and willingness to grow the program within the assigned geography.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues.
- Willingness to assist with evaluation and treatment of the adult population in the post-acute setting.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent with ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) standards.
- Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Pay
Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $50.00 per hour.
