Speech Pathologist (SLP) - FEES Endoscopist

About the role

Powerback is seeking an energetic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to the adult population in the post-acute care setting. This position will focus primarily on completing FEES in a set geography, so the ability to travel is required. The clinician will primarily complete FEES but may also provide patient care for other diagnoses as needed.

Comprehensive FEES CEU and competency training is provided, along with dedicated leadership offering ongoing clinical and operational support throughout your career.

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

Responsibilities

• Perform Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) for the adult population in post-acute care settings.
• Travel within a designated geography to complete FEES assessments.
• Provide patient care for other diagnoses in the post-acute setting as needed.
• Engage in community marketing of FEES and contribute to program growth within the assigned geography.
• Collaborate with colleagues using excellent communication skills.
• Assist in the growth and support of developing future Endoscopists through CEU participation and on-site competency training.

Qualifications

• Strong passion for instrumental swallow assessment, specifically FEES.
• Interest in community marketing of FEES and willingness to grow the program within the geography.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues.
• Willingness to assist with evaluation and treatment of the adult population in the post-acute setting.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent with ASHA standards.
• Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted Salary Range: USD $40.00 - USD $55.00 per hour.
