Speech Pathologist SLP Per Diem

About the role

The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation, a division of Mass General Brigham, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, fluency, and other related disorders. This role requires patient care and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Implement treatment plans through various techniques and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about speech and language disorders and provide communication strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Therapy required.
• No experience in lieu of a degree accepted.
• Speech-language Pathologist [State License] - Generic - HR Only required.
• Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology [CCC-A] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology [CCC-SLP] - American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred.
• Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Data Conversion - Various Issuers preferred.
