Position Overview: Assists speech/language therapists in providing therapy services by conducting activities to develop communication skills, oral-motor control, and assistive technology use. Also performs clerical duties in outpatient clinics, including reception, scheduling, and maintaining clinical space. Responsibilities Provides direct patient care related to speech, voice, fluency, and hearing under supervision.Documents patient progress and plans therapy tailored to individual capabilities.Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Participates in professional development and departmental program development.Performs receptionist duties, manages schedules, and maintains clinic organization. Qualifications & Skills Active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license in the practice state.Strong communication skills, visual acuity, and ability to work effectively in a team.Ability to perform essential duties with professionalism and confidentiality.
