About the Role
Join as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, providing evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include supporting interdisciplinary care and rehabilitation goals in a post-acute setting.
Responsibilities
- Providing skilled speech-language pathology services in a post-acute care environment
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Active Massachusetts state license
- BLS certification (may be required)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Experience with dysphagia management and modified barium swallow interpretation
