About the role

At Allaire Rehab and Nursing, we are dedicated to providing specialized care to young adults with neurological impairments. Our Horizons Neurological Program aims to foster growth, independence, and restoration of functional abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for residents with neurological impairments
• Address a range of needs including dysphagia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), cognitive, and language-based challenges
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Document and track progress toward measurable goals in accordance with regulatory standards
• Support and educate residents, families, and caregivers on their plan of care and therapy goals

Requirements

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of NJ
• Current CPR certification
• Passion for working with a neurologically impaired young adult population
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• 1+ years of experience (full-time position)

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Experience in treating neurological impairments
• Knowledge of AAC and cognitive therapies

Salary Range: $40-60/hr
