Part-time or PRN Speech Language Pathologist

About the role

The AZ Veterans Home in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a passionate Part-time or PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join their dynamic therapy team. This role offers a flexible schedule of 1-2 shifts per week, with consistent availability to meet with patients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders for veterans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for veterans.
• Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations for further treatment or referrals as necessary.

Requirements

• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Arizona.
• Current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Experience working with veterans and/or individuals with complex medical conditions is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
