We are seeking a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students. Key Responsibilities Include Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, including standardized testing and feeding evaluations.Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans with measurable goals, considering patient communication preferences and cultural backgrounds.Collaborating with patients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams, including pediatric PT/OT, to coordinate care and interventions.Providing education on home programs and activities for patients and caregivers.Completing documentation and billing in therapy EMR, along with supervising students and participating in professional development activities. Qualifications Master's Degree in a related field.Licensed as an SLP by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.Completion of continuing education related to acute stroke patient care. Skills and attributes: strong assessment, communication, collaboration, and patient education skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, culturally competent care.
