Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Full Time

We partner with school districts, COEs, state agencies, and families to strengthen instruction, services, staffing, compliance, and operations. Our work focuses on delivering high-quality, sustainable special education programs that improve outcomes for students with disabilities by meeting IEP needs and building capacity across educator teams.
Responsibilities
- Affirms the needs of pupils with speech or language disorders and matches them with programs available through the educational system.
- Meets with students regularly according to the treatment program schedule, evaluates, and maintains records of students' progress.
- Reports progress to faculty members and meets with them on a regular basis to discuss their evaluations of students' skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students.
- Develops individual speech and language programs based upon assessment results.
- Participates in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present.
- Reports progress to parents and meets with them regularly.
- Suggest activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program.
- Repeats evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
- Travel to school site within assigned region.
- Maintains student progress records as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid California SLP License / CTC Credential or eligibility for a state waiver.
- A valid license/RPE issued from Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board, California.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites, is required.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
