Role: A flexible PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized care plans in speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing. The role involves providing therapy services across various settings, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and family input.Educate patients and families, provide discharge instructions, and facilitate follow-up and community referrals.Conduct assessments in collaboration with physicians, establishing and evaluating treatment goals and discharge plans.Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education per departmental guidelines.Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and proper attire.Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and support process improvements.Uphold infection prevention and safety protocols. Customer Service & Professional Development: Deliver excellent patient care using AIDET principles, fostering teamwork, respect, and a positive environment.Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and licensure maintenance. Qualifications: Masters in Speech Pathology from an accredited program.Licenses and certifications: SLP and BLS or BLS-Instructor, required upon hire.Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
